The track ‘Redbud Tree’, from Mark’s forth-coming Privateering album, is now being streamed here on markknopfler.com. The song has been issued to radio in some territories as a focus track and it is not intended for general release as a single. It was recorded at Mark’s British Grove studio and features Mark on vocals and guitars, Guy Fletcher on bass, harmonium and synths, singer Ruth Moody from The Wailin’ Jennys and Paul Franklin on pedal steel. The recording was produced by Mark assisted by co-producers Guy Fletcher and Chuck Ainlay.
