London Showcase

Mark and his band will be playing an intimate session in front of a live studio audience for BBC Radio 2 in London this Friday, October 5th. We have a pair of tickets each to offer 24 fans, and if you’d like a chance to attend the show then please email us between 2pm local UK time Tuesday 2nd October and 2pm local UK time Wednesday 3rd October. Only emails received between those times will be entered into the draw. You should email [email protected], with the subject line Mark Knopfler BBC Session tickets, and include your name and contact telephone number. 24 names will be randomly selected, and those lucky fans will be contacted on Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning to confirm the details. Note that this offer is open to UK and Eire residents only, gives you entrance to the show only, and does not cover transport etc. Please note also, you will need to bring some proof of identity with you in order to gain entry to the show.

Update – 6th October

A select audience of around eighty people attended the London showcase at the BBC’s studios in Maida Vale. The set list of ten songs, some from the new Kill To Get Crimson album, were played and a series of mini-interviews conducted by Simon Mayo. The showcase will be broadcast on BBC Radio 2 on the 19th of November.
