10.5.08 - MK and band live in Oberhausen - KöPi Arena

    Hi,

i just want to write a few sentences about the show.

In my Opinion the venue is really good and comfortable, but the sound was first a bit scratchy. After 2 songs it was okay and from "what it is" on, the sound was good. I only missed the bass a bit. I didn`t felt the vibes in my stomach, but all in all  the sound was great. The performance of the songs were really great (no surprise at all, he?).

     Setlist:

    1) Cannibals

    2) Why aye man

    3) What it is

    4) Sailing to Philadelphia

    5) True love will never fade

    6) The fish and the bird (great performed!)

    7) Hill farmer`s blues (geniously performed! :D)

    8) Romeo and Juliet

    9) Sultans ... (no need to say anything)

    10)  Marbletown

    11) Postcards from Paraguay

    12) Speedway at Nazarath (when Richard joined the Outro with his Les Paul, it knocked my socks off! Great!)

     13) Telegraph road

    --------------------------------------

    14) Brothers in arms (Nice version!)

    15) Our Shangri-La (Well sung in my ears)

    -----

    16) So far away (dancing crowds :) )

    17) Local hero

-> no Daddys gone to Knoxville :-/

The lightshow was excellent. At the end of speedway of nazarath and brothers in arms the floodlight turned on the audience. There were more great moments.

Thank you for a great concert and see you soon ;)

    Nothing more to say!

It was fabulous again. Too bad it was my last visit to this tour Sad
