suggestion about the special effects in the concert

I happen to know a few people who have epilepsy, and I've heard that flashing laser lights can trigger an epilepitc fit. In the concert yesterday, I was thinking about especially one of these acquaintances of mine, because he plays the electric guitar and I'm pretty sure he would have wanted to go to the concert....

So, why not make concerts available to everybody? It won't take anything away from the rest of us, if the lights were used differently. Smile

I understand what your saying, but Mark plays to an average of 9,000-10,000 people per show, and not many out of that number would have epilepsy, if any, at some concerts. So, he could'nt please just 1 or 2 people, he has to put on a show for the masses, and compared to other artists, like Pink Floyd, Mark's light shows are quite timid.

Yes, the Australian Pink Floyd Show or even Tina Turner's lightning is wicked, on the verge of too much sometimes.. But it's all part of the act.. I recently found out that Mark wrote Tina's Private Dancer -- Cool! I'm going to go and see her in january next year (Geez - all tickets were sold out in only a few hours/minutes time - Just as crazy as when The Police announced their tour -- Would be the same if Dire Straits did, and I would certainly go, but at the same time it's not necessary, or at least not this moment -- I like the fact that MK himself says that they come together whenever there's something like the Nelson Mandela gig they did or the birthday of a DS member.. Classy as always)

You could say that Private Dancer is the only DS song Mark never played on, as the backing band are DS, apart from Jeff Beck who plays the guitar solo!
