She opened for the concert tonight (Woodinville, WA) and mentioned that she would be with them through the end of July.

Yes... I must admit never having heard of her. Popular in the USA?
One question though.. Why is there a warm-up in the states but not in Europe?
We didn't really needed one.. It would be the same as when I visited the reunion show of The Police.. Sure, the band of Sting's son wasn't bad, but that's not what we came for.. But perhaps she's very enjoyable.. Don't know

Anyway, the show was brilliant.. I think we all agree! I am -after a month- still deeply impressed!

Honestly I'd prefer not to have a warmup for the show on the 20th....I will be sitting there trying to block out Jescas music so I can replay all my MK favs in my head getting ready for Mark and the band to take the stage!

I understand! Before the show there was a play list which Guy Fletcher put together, and it fitted in nicely.. (Again, no offence to Jesca!)

    Hi Joe,

From what I've heard, they'll be opening for all of the MK shows in the states.  A word of warning, though.  Not sure if it was first night jitters or what, but they royally sucked at Red Rocks.  I was really pondering how they might have gotten the gig, but hopefully it can be chalked up to nervousness and inexperience in front of such a big crowd.  Hope they do better for the remainder of the tour.
