    NPR interview

Some of you may have already seen/heard this, but for those who haven't...

NPR (National Public Radio) has archived an interview and in-studio set with Mark on the show "World Café". The segment is from October '07 and runs about 30 minutes.

    Set List:

    • "The Fizzy and the Still"
    • "Postcards from Paraguay"
    • "Brothers in Arms"
     Enjoy!

    Hi buttercup,

thanks for sending the link to the interview, it was a great pleasure, to listen to it!

Having heard "Brothers in arms" so many times, but the song still sends shivers down my spine.

Today, I bought a special magazin of MK at ebay and now the interview - now a cold brew and the day was perfect! :-)

    regards from South-Germany

    Re: NPR interview

Thank you for posting this link Buttercup...it was enlightening to hear Mark talk about the storyline behind "Let it all go"...especially the part in which he discussed the possible connection between the need for "crimson" in the story...and his desire to own a red Strat when he was a kid.

    Thanks again                               Beer

Thanks for this, a real treat. I was delighted to hear about Secondary Waltz. My ideas about it were pretty accurate. You see, I had a teacher exactely like that, only she had never been in the army. And we were girls so we had to dance all kinds of things whole December.
