Actually, I'm spending some time with Guy Fletcher's release, Inamorata. Like most discs, you need to give it some time to unfold. High in the Hills is particularly lovely.

High in the Hills is my favorite as well!!!!

I've been listening to Guy's album a lot since I bought it on Zagreb show (June, 9). My favorite song is Stone, listening to it right now, but all the others are great too. The album is so warm and positive, imbued (I'm not certain is this the right word) with love, elements from nature and good things in life... It's hard to find something so positive these days...

    Marja,

Great song! You had me put it on my jukebox just now...the only version I have these days is by John Cale and Suzanne Vega...but they do good!

    Re: Your "right now" jukebox...

I was listening to Everybody Pays, then a little bird whispered in my ear

Love is a Battlefield ( and then made me think of Pat's signature song naturally)

I'm too old for some of the sentiments in those songs, but quite some time ago I saw two video's of Pat doing Love is a Battlefield and Bob Dylan's Jokerman expressing some of the same imagery.

Back to Everybody Pays..." who wrote the oldest story in the book?"

I actually watched Brother In Arms through my download from iTunes

in running many red lights down memory lane, I also listened prior to both these, Jefferson Airplane/ Starship...many on my mind.

This thread has attracted over 12,000 views and only 63 posts. Why is that I wonder? So many more views than other threads.

    "Right one hour ago"...

... Went to the bank to pay for booking my holiday in September. The bankman was listening to the radio at very low volume... but I was able to hear a man singing: MusicLady Writer on the tv...Music, one tune I love...

Who knows if it' s a sign this will be a great holiday?

Back to MY "radio" (which is no radio: it' s a player with 8Gb inside, so it' s close to a radio, because when I play random I never know what will come...): MusicCrowfeathersMusic - Wolfstone

" The Water is Wide" One of the most beautiful songs I think. I also like the Lillith version, Sarah Mclaughlin, Indigo Girls and Jewel.

Listened to The Water is Wide twice and then pulled out my heavy artillery:

A dvd of Bruce in Barcelona...one side, I can't find the 2nd dvd which is bugging me no end.
