    Why Mark play to guitar more and more frequently seated?
     B.B. King play to guitar seated because he has a health problem and has more age than Mark Knopfler. For that reason I understand the one of B.B. King, but I do not understand Why Mark does the same of a person of more age.
    Somebody can explain to me if he has some problem of health or what happens with him? Only it is 59 years old...

    Somebody has a reasonable answer? The style of its new album does not have anything to do. Please, Mark is a person also, not only a musician...

    My guess is that it has do to simply with age. I'm 51...I work a physical job...lifting and loading packages..and my knees and legs would be killing me if I didn't sit down once in a while.

    Hello hophead, 
    I understand what you tell me of your work, but Mark does not deliver attack physical to load a guitar. In my house I have an electrical guitar and it is not so heavy. I am not to teenager and I assure to you that I can load that guitar during two hours without having to seat to me. In addition Mark has been loading a guitar for many years and must be customary. I do not believe that it has to do its age. Perhaps after their accident with moto their legs have some problem...

    I would guess for nice, cruisy, easy listening songs you dont need to be standing up, jumping around.  Especially the KTGC album.  Its all relaxed music.
