Apology notice

Monday - 31st May 2010

Dear All,

Unfortunately, there was a major problem last night at the first night in London and many of you had to queue for much longer than we would have liked. This was caused by understaffing and lack of preparedness by the Albert Hall for which I can only apologise.

I wanted to write to everybody to say thanks for being so patient and to apologise for the ticketing pick up not being as efficient as it should have been. We have now taken additional steps to ensure that this won't happen again.

I look forward to seeing you all at an MK show in the future and thanks for your continued support.

All the best
Paul Crockford

bonsoir,

hi, I went last night and it was a shambles picking up the tickets, but it was so worth the hassle. I had front row seats and the man was amazing!!!!Thanks for the apology, but I guess it was just teething problems.

What an amazing night. I screamed so much I could taste blood in my mouth!! It was not just a gig. It was a artistic performance by every member of the band.

Dearest Mr. Crockford, dearest Staff, first time I'm sending a comment, still I'm celebrating my 30 years jubilee since my "first SOS"!... Yesterday I wasn't at RAH, but I find so sweet of you apologising: I remember when Dire Straits used to play in stadiums. In Nice 1992, for example, we went 5 hours before the show
in order to get a place as close as possible to the stage..and to the band! Under the summer sun, nobody felt heat or stress! It was just so great and exciting. And it was so worthwhile! I'm getting an old spoiled child getting now numerated seats. I see from the other comments everyboby agrees with my point of view! Lots of love and see you in Piazzola sul Brenta Udine. liaofgenoa
