Congratulations to all the Studio Staff. Congratulations to Mark and the Band. All the fans have to be proud.

Great job Mark and fabulous staff.   must be a great honor to be recognized for your talent and hard work.  Mark...we know you'd only have the best!

This is my first post on this site, hopefully one of many, and both MK and Dire Straits are firmly part of my lifetime experience and part of my music collection. Being a guitarist myself over the years I respect and admire MK's style of playing, not easy to achieve, at the level he has.
It's what makes his style and sound unique. To get to the point, in my humble opinion what Mark needs to do, is get in his recording studio, with John and Guy and think about a new single, up front of a series of size managed concerts for 2010. I'm in the same age group as MK and John and I would really think about a Dire Straits revival, allbeit temporarily, for a single and a few chosen venue concerts.
We're ALL not getting any younger, and to use John's words,"there maybe a single and a tour left to go, but it would be up to Mark"...so guys,stop nannying around, and get on with it!!!!!
If you don't one or both of you may regret the day you didn't.

Congratulations to all the Staff and specially to Mark from Basque Country. I would like visiting the studio soon. Don't forget to visit us Mark in Bilbao! We love you!
