There is another date in Clearwater FL on July 30th that is not yet listed here.  Will tickets be available through the website?

Is anyone familiar with Rumsey Playfield? Is this an outdoor venue and are there reserved seating?

I have been trying on and off to get tickets for Newark since noon -- it's 1:30 now.  I'm sure I've hit Add To Cart at least 100-200 times.  Did it really sell out in about 10 seconds, or is something wrong?  I keep getting "The following items are currently reserved by other customers, please try again in a few minutes."

I was able to buy two tickets for Newark right at noon, but it was a blind buy as the seat location wasn't given.

I've also been shut out on the Newark show since the tickets went on sale... it's 3pm now and it seems like the system crashed. What's the story? Will Markknopfler.com give us an explanation and/or do another presale? I've been waiting for months for these tickets to come on sale - and now I'm shut out. I'm livid.

My boyfriend had some trouble with Newark tickets at first, but that was because of a credit card issue. He did however still get tickets around 1:30p. He just kept at it and tickets came up. There were still some available after that as well. Sorry you got shut out.

Echo the other NJ sale comments.   Was not very smooth.  Plus, at the prices we're paying, how can you NOT be told whether you're in row 1 or row 16??   You should know EXACTLY what (and in this case, where) you're buying.

Last Saturday NJPAC tickets went on sale at noon. At 12:05 I had 4 tickets in the 19th row over the phone. (I could've also gotten tickets in the 20th row on their website) What a pleasure. It was quite a contrast from the all day debacle on the mark knopfler website pre-sale. I thought the pre-sale would be a better bet - brother was I wrong.  While it's great you offer a pre-sale for fans - one can only hope you do a better job accommodating fans in the future.

roger that, on not knowing where the seats are when bought thru the web site. I bought tickets (I think) for the Wolftrap show more than 2 weeks ago, but have no clue where they are yet. I'm still waiting to get the tickets.

It's unfortunate and I'm sure frustrating for some fans in
Newark area, with what sounds like a computer glitch, that
caused the above problems back then. I'm also pretty
sure this was an aberration.
I can only speak of my own experiences, with having
success at getting great seats(with the presale) on this site, in the past and also for two shows on this tour(front
row seats for both!). Yes, I had to wait to find out the
actual row number, but was rewarded with wonderful seats.
I appreciate(as do most diehard MK fans)the ability to get great seats with these presales.
It's not a perfect world,folks.
