Here's hoping Mark makes it to Calgary and Edmonton on this tour -- had to fly from Edmonton to Vancouver to see him on his last tour.

Well worth the trip -- but he has a lot of fans in Alberta, and for some reason he's not make it to these parts on his last two tours.

We really hope that Mark Knopfler can make it to the East Coast ( USA ) around Tennessee .  We have waited a lifetime to see this artist and really enjoy listening to his music and always will. We just recently found DVD's of him and play them all the time.  He is an extremely talented individual who we enjoy listening to.  Please come to Tennessee Mark!

Sure hoping he gets to Vancouver this time.  Saw him last time on my birthday!
It would be great if he made a concert DVD of this tour, I wonder why he hasn't done that more often?
Love Mark and his music - my all time favourite artist for the past 20 years!

Seems odd for him to start the US tour in Colorado.  Nearly 2 weeks between Portland and Chicago, which I am sure will end up with dates for MN & WI.  I'd hate to be a driver on this tour!!

Seriously, I am thinking this tour will be a few shows shorter than Shangri La but with most of the usual stops.

So do you think it was a good idea for me to have purchased my tickets to the Las Vegas, being that I live in Texas, not sure if he has toured Texas before?

Please come to Tennessee this summer.  I had to go to Ohio to see the last tour and I know we in Knoxville would give a better reception than the people from central Ohio would. Come to the home of Chet Adkins  please.  I know Mark doesn't like to play in the south but it would so cool to see him here.

Very good, and looking forward to the rest of tour being announced...
Does Mark REALLY not like to play the South?? Hey, we're good folks down here; I know NewOrleans would love a show! Also, there is a WONDERFUL, brand-new venue in Orange Beach, AL called The Wharf that I think would be a perfect stop for Mark & the gang, especially during the summer :) If neither of those works, Atlanta is always a good choice.

Peace.

What a crock...I 'subscribed' months ago and have been checking back constantly to see if there were going to be any N. American tour dates. Now I see that the presale is already over and I never got any e-mail notification. I hope you all have fun! Great music, lousy website!!
